RICOH IT Health Check
Strengthen your IT infrastructure and optimise your technology use
How much more could your business achieve?
Your IT infrastructure determines how productive your people can be. It keeps your data and information safe. Ultimately, your IT practices directly affect your revenue and profit.
Sudden, dramatic business changes can create – or expose – gaps in your IT systems and infrastructure. But before you can address them, you need to know they exist.
Our IT Health Check provides a documented view of your existing IT infrastructure, including but not limited to End User Computing, Networking, Servers and Apps (Cloud and On-premise) and Security. It will also detail any areas that may need to be addressed to ensure your technology is optimised. You’ll then meet with a Ricoh Systems, Cloud and Security Engineer to go through the findings and results.
Ricoh Digital Services is a Cisco and Microsoft Gold Partner holding advanced certifications across a wide range of cloud platforms, networking and smart device security services with proven expertise in delivering and managing complex solutions. We’re ready to help you boost employee productivity and engagement and achieve your business’ needs in the hybrid work environment.
See your technology use and potential vulnerabilities
We do a comprehensive review of how you use your existing software, hardware and network infrastructure. The analysis specifically looks at:
- End User Computing
Assess the current desktop computing environment, including laptops, desktops, thin clients, kiosks, Chromebooks, operating systems, and make recommendations for modernisation and consolidation. Current levels of operating systems and their patches and hotfixes, including a review of Windows Updates - one of the first areas of weakness potential hackers will exploit - are also reported. - Software Licensing – Microsoft O365/M35 and On-premise
Identify current software usage/licencing and any potential issues or savings. - Network Infrastructure
Assess the current network infrastructure, including all data switches, routers, appliances, WAN infrastructure, wireless mesh network and recommendations for appropriate improvements. - Servers and Server-Based Applications – Cloud and On-premise
Assess the current servers being utilised, including virtual servers, domain controllers, email servers, database and application servers and make maintenance and management of device life-cycle recommendations. Current levels of hardware, operating systems / licensing, patches and hotfixes and any potential risks are also reported. - Storage and Backups
Assess the current use of Direct Attached Storage (DAS), Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN), tape backup and off-site storage strategies. - Email Usage & Email Security
Identify email system including mailbox sizes, distribution lists as well as security procedures. - User Accounts / Security Policies
Identify current password and lockout policies including any potential risks. - Security
Assess the current state of cybersecurity in the organisation’s infrastructure with respect to industry best practices. Both internal and external vulnerability reports are produced including a report on the health of your antivirus / anti-malware systems and if any ‘at risk’ assets exist. The resulting business intelligence is an essential part of many standard security compliance reports.
100% remote service delivery & no software installed
Our process is entirely contactless. We don’t need to install any software on your network or workstations. You won’t have agents or probes living on your network.
For the analysis, we will need remote access to your network and server infrastructure. You will also need to allow our team to run tools that require domain administration authority.
It’s simple. It’s fast. And, better yet, the remote delivery makes it a lower cost engagement.
Get useful insights and recommendations in your
IT Health Check report
In the report, you’ll see:
- Your network device inventory
- Potential network issues highlighted
- O365/M365 configurations and any security gaps
- Recommendations for issue resolution
Some examples of what we have found include:
- Old PCs still connected to the domain (security risk)
- Missing Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and firewall misconfigurations on systems
- Inconsistent security policies on networks and endpoints
- Old, but still active, user accounts
- External issues that may out your network at risk of disruption of data loss
You’ll also gain valuable data and insight to build a future roadmap for a more secured IT infrastructure that empowers your teams, regardless of where they work, to drive your business goals forward.
