RICOH Launches New A4 Colour Laser Series For The Modern Workplace
Sydney, 23 September 2024 - RICOH AUSTRALIA, a leading provider of smart workplace technology, has launched a new range of compact yet feature-rich A4 colour laser devices enabling businesses to optimise workflows, strengthen data security, and minimise environmental impact.
Ideal for decentralised offices, frontline services, and enterprise business, the new series includes the IM C320F and M C320FW A4 colour multifunction printers (MFP), and the P C375 single function printer.
The IM C320F and M C320FW comes standard with copy, print, scan, and fax functionality, whist the M C320FW also provides wireless connectivity. The P C375 is a print-only A4 colour device. All three devices have the fastest first print times in RICOH’s A4 colour line up.
The MFPs come standard with a Single-Pass Document Feeder (SPDF) for fast scanning of double-sided documents with a maximum paper input capacity of 800 sheets using the additional paper feed tray and bypass tray to support mixed media printing for increased flexibility. Meanwhile, the P C375 offers an even greater maximum paper input capacity of 1,300 sheets for reduced printer downtime and to improve productivity in high-traffic areas.
Combining energy saving technology with eco-conscious design, the new series are designed with sustainability in mind. The IM C320F, M C320FW and P C375 are manufactured using 50% post-consumer recycled plastic. In addition, device packaging has been reduced by 31%, toner cartridge labels are now laser engraved, and the toner plastic bag has been removed thanks to the new energy saving, high-efficiency toner.
RICOH has also incorporated energy saving features such as a more thermally efficient transfer unit and toner with a lower melting point, that contribute to best-in-class Typical Energy Consumption (TEC) values.
All devices have the latest security features such as Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3), WPA3 wireless security, SNMPv3, user code authentication, SMTP over SSL/TLS, and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) communication just to name a few. These protocols all contribute to preventing unauthorised access to the device, network, and help protect confidential information. The IM C320F and P C375 also provide machine data encryption, encrypted PDF mode, secure print, and an “Erase All Memory” function to overwrite the onboard NVRAM storage for a secure way to wipe data at machine end-of-life.
Designed to deliver high performance in a compact and sustainable package, key features include:
- IM C320F (Intelligent MFP): A solutions-oriented model that brings A3 equivalent solutions capabilities into a compact device with advanced capabilities such as a 7” Smart Operation Panel, sGW controller, Bluetooth 5.2, and RICOH Always Current Technology allowing users to download the latest essential features and security updates as they become available.
- M C320FW (Essential MFP): Designed to deliver steady performance with ease of use, simple setup with QR codes, a cost-effective model with a 4.3” touch panel, Primax controller, and advanced RICOH Web API functionality to support device management solutions.
- P C375 (Single Function Printer): A mid-range A4 colour print-only device with a 4-line LCD panel and low-cost printing, suitable for any office environment in need of print only functionality.
Sul Koralege, Product Manager, RICOH Australia, said, “Australian businesses today are dealing with the challenges of optimising their print infrastructure to enable a hybrid workforce - balancing sustainability, productivity, and security.
“A smart solution for agile workplaces, the new RICOH A4 Colour Laser MFP and Print devices reinforce our ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and supporting modern work environments. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of helping customers make eco-responsible purchases to achieve their sustainability targets and minimise their environmental footprint.”
